Building an LNG plant: An engineer’s perspective

With over 18 years of experience as an engineer in the oil & gas industry, Prashant Malik is an authority in the design and construction of a new facility—be it upstream, midstream or downstream. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Gujarat University in India in 1997 and his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, USA in 2001.
Pump Engineer had the pleasure of speaking with Prashant, who took some time out of his busy schedule to talk to us about the use of pumps at an LNG (liquefied natural gas) processing facility.
