On 26 August 2010, Mr Niels Due Jensen, Group Chairman of the Grundfos Group will celebrate his 50 year jubilee with the pump manufacturer. He was two years old when his father, Poul Due Jensen, established the company in the basement of the home in Østergade in the small town Bjerringbro, Denmark, and Grundfos has been Niels Due Jensen’s life ever since.

Lincoln has introduced its new P653S Electric Centro-Matic Pump, the company's first pump that includes a reservoir, pressure switch or transducer, vent valve, low-level detection and controller in one unit.

The CN M50-315 3M pump from liquid handling specialist Pump Engineering has been used in a research and development laboratory for an oil-field application. This required a pump to re-circulate dense phase CO2 at flow rates of up to 50mc/hr at 30m, with a system pressure of 200bar.

After three years of planning and constructing, the KSB Group company, KSB ITUR Spain S.A., has commissioned an automatic pump test facility of more than 1000sq/m on 9 July 2010. The new unit includes nine test stands on which up to 75 pumps can be tested per day.
