Albin ALP peristaltic pump

28 January 2010
Pump Co. has now released the Albin ALP peristaltic pump in the UK. The ALP is accurate up to +/-0.5% across the total speed range. It has no seals, valves, diaphragms, glands or immersed rotors to leak, clog or replace and it will self-prime to 0.6bar and run dry indefinitely. The pump contains the fluid in a tube or hose, requiring only one component to be changed. Two rollers on a rotor compress a thick-walled hose in a concentric guide and push the contents of the hose from the suction to discharge side. The Albin ALP pump range has flow rates from microlitres to 10m/h and pressures up to 4bar.
