Wilden, an operating company within Dover Corp.’s Pump Solutions Group (PSG), has introduced the Original Series Metal PX8 Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps for use in harsh environments, specifically at oilfield compressor stations for waste-oil transfer. PX8 pumps feature port sizes of 51mm and have the ability to handle flow rates up to 181gpm at working pressures reaching 125psi. Their maximum suction-lift capability is 24.4ft. PX8 pumps are available in aluminum, ductile-iron and stainless-steel construction with non-wetted housings of aluminum and stainless steel. Elastomer options include Buna-N, Viton, EPDM, Neoprene, PTFE and Polyurethane, among others.
