16 February 2010
The Caprari Group's Spanish subsidiary, Bombas Caprari S.A., presents two projects with Caprari electric pumps for wastewater installed in series as their main feature.  The first of these systems comprises the K+ Series submersible pumps, while the second features K-Kompact Series pumps in a dry pit installation. The customer, Spain-based Coptalia S.A.U., is a company involved in a variety of fields, including: street cleaning; beach cleaning; MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) collection; management and use of wastewater treatment plants; public highway maintenance; gardening; and works in general. For the first project, Caprari’s K+ Series pumps were installed for wastewater pumping at Argés (Toledo). The company supplied two KCW080HC+003541N1 submersible electric pumps aligned in series with open impellers in a retracted position (vortex type), with 7kW total power.  The pumps will be used to pump wastewater at a flow rate of 72m3/h and delivery pressure of 80m. For the second project, Caprari’s K-Kompact Series pumps were installed for wastewater in a dry pit installation at Cobisa-Layos (Toledo). Caprari replaced 4 existing pumps and installed two single-channel pumps KKCM100NA+037022N1 for wastewater, in a dry pit. They operate with a total power of 74kW. The pumps will pump wastewater from Cobisa (Layos Casa de Campo S.A.) to the wastewater treatment plant in the nearby town of Layos.  They have a flow rate of 70m3/h and a delivery pressure of 130m delivery pressure.
