Tsurumi Europe has announced its partnership with Primax Pumps, an Australian pump manufacturer, to distribute its automatic self-priming diesel pumps to several European markets. The new pump line joins Tsurumi’s current offerings. Tsurumi will sell Primax’s Yakka pump range to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Yakka are compact and maneuverable pumps that can be mounted on a single axle trailer. The versatile range has a maximum head of 67m and maximum flow of 132ltrs/s. The pumps can be used for general dewatering and wellpoint applications. With a full tank, the Yakko provides up to 30hrs of use. The pumps have a special acoustic casing making the pumps very quiet. Running at 1500rpm, the Yakka emits 65.5dBA at 7m. Gull wing doors allow for maintenance. Tsurumi will introduce the Yakka pumps at bauma 2010 in April.
